Kathmandu, Nagarkot, and Dhulikhel are all famous and well-known tourist destinations. Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal, is situated at a height of 1,350 meters and carries multiple cultural, historical, and spiritual values for tourists who want to experience many things in one place.
It has numerous temples and stupas built thousands of years ago, each holding significant importance. The valley accommodates millions of people and provides endless opportunities for their livelihoods. Kathmandu Valley consists of three districts: Kathmandu, Lalitpur, and Bhaktapur. All of these were once separate kingdoms, and each has its own Durbar Square, which is not to be missed while sightseeing around the valley.
Bhaktapur, a Newar city founded in the 9th century, is one of the best-preserved ancient towns in Nepal. You can visit the ancient gateway, Bhaktapur Durbar Square, the Royal Residential Quarter of King Bhupatindra Malla, the famous five-storey Nyatapola Temple in Pagoda style, and many other temples. Bhaktapur is also known for its pottery craft and traditional handicrafts.
Nagarkot, situated at an elevation of 2,100 meters, is famous for its spectacular sunrise and sunset views and panoramic vistas of the Himalayas when the weather is clear. Dhulikhel, a small city and the district headquarters of Kavre, lies about 30 km from Kathmandu along the Chinese-built road leading to the Tibetan border. Located at an altitude of about 6,000 ft, Dhulikhel offers superb mountain views stretching from Cho Oyu in the east to Himalchuli in the west.
Namo Buddha, one of the holiest Buddhist stupas in Nepal, is a wonderful scenic and spiritual place to visit. Panauti, another historical town, offers a delightful experience with its old temples, cultural traditions, and unique architectural heritage set in a peaceful environment.

DETAILED ITINERARY
Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu and Transfer to Hotel
Connect your flight to Kathmandu. Upon arrival, you will be assisted and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 02: Full-Day Guided Sightseeing Tour in Kathmandu Valley
Buffet breakfast at the hotel. Begin your morning sightseeing tour of Kathmandu Valley, visiting Durbar Square, Hanuman Dhoka, the ancient royal palace area, and surrounding temples. Continue to Swayambhunath, a 2,500-year-old Buddhist stupa where, according to mythology, the radiant lotus settled after Manjushri drained the valley’s lake. At the base of the stupa, the five Dhyani Buddhas are enshrined along with their consorts.
In the afternoon, proceed to Patan for a half-day excursion. Explore the Old Newar city, Patan Durbar Square, the Golden Gate, the magnificent temples of Taleju, traditional wood-carved balconies, curio shops, and lively bazaars. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 03: Kathmandu – Bhaktapur – Nagarkot (2,100 m)
Buffet breakfast at the hotel. Begin the morning with a visit to Boudhanath, the 2,500-year-old Buddhist stupa and a major pilgrimage site. Then visit Pashupatinath Temple, a sacred Hindu shrine. Both are UNESCO World Heritage Sites and hold deep historical, cultural, and religious significance.
Next, proceed to Bhaktapur, a Newar city founded in the 9th century. Explore the ancient gateway, Bhaktapur Durbar Square, the Royal Residential Quarter of King Bhupatindra Malla, the famous Nyatapola Temple, and other important monuments.
After a late lunch, continue driving to Nagarkot, located at an elevation of 2,100 meters and known for its breathtaking sunrise and sunset views over the Himalayas. Overnight at Nagarkot. (B.L.D.)
Day 04: Nagarkot – Dhulikhel – Namo Buddha – Panauti – Kathmandu
Wake up early to enjoy the sunrise with tea or coffee. After breakfast, drive to Dhulikhel, a charming town and district headquarters of Kavre. The town offers unparalleled scenic beauty and sweeping views of Himalayan peaks from Cho Oyu to Himalchuli.
After lunch in Dhulikhel, continue to Namo Buddha, one of the holiest Buddhist pilgrimage sites in Nepal, known for its serene atmosphere and beautiful surroundings. After a short exploration, drive down to Panauti, an ancient town rich in culture, temples, and riverside architecture.
Later, return to Kathmandu. Overnight at the hotel. (B.L.D.)
Day 05: Leisure Day in Kathmandu
Enjoy a free day to explore the city at your own pace. You may choose to extend your trip with a visit to Chitwan National Park or Pokhara. In the evening, enjoy a traditional Nepali dinner with a cultural show. (B.D.)

Buffet breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy some free time before your transfer to the airport to connect to your flight to your next destination. Thank you for travelling with us.
