Honeymoon tours, in the modern sense, became common during the era of early mass tourism. This happened despite initial condemnation from modern medical opinion (which worried about women’s fragile health) and from guidebooks (which disapproved of the public attention drawn to what was assumed to be the wife’s sexual initiation).

Typically, honeymoons would begin on the night of the wedding, with the couple leaving midway through the reception to catch a late train or ship. However, in the 21st century, many couples do not leave until 1 to 3 days after the ceremony and reception, so they can tie up loose ends with the venue, enjoy the celebration fully, and have a restful night before beginning a long journey.

Newlywed couples are encouraged to visit Nepal to enjoy romance and relaxation amidst scenic mountains, diverse wildlife, and beautiful river beaches. This exhilarating Himalayan country will captivate your senses in every way. We warmly welcome newly married couples to explore Nepal’s natural wonders and make their honeymoon truly memorable.

A honeymoon is the most treasured and awaited moment of your married life. It is a golden period that deserves to be cherished beautifully. Spending a few days in the lap of nature with your beloved is truly marvelous. Exploring Tourism offers the best options for couples seeking an unforgettable honeymoon in Nepal. We have a pre-established itinerary, but we can also customize your honeymoon based on your special needs and preferences.
