Package Itinerary

Kathmandu–Chitwan–Pokhara Tour Package offers you the chance to visit the three major Durbar Squares of the Kathmandu Valley: Bhaktapur Durbar Square, Patan Durbar Square, and Kathmandu Durbar Square, respectively.

Durbar in Nepali means “Palace.” Around the central Durbar Square in each of these locations are the old royal palaces. At Kathmandu Durbar Square (Hanuman Dhoka), you can see several fascinating pagoda-style and Indian-style (Shikhara) temples, the House of Kumari (the Living Goddess), the Kasthamandap (the wooden house that gave Kathmandu its name), and many more attractions.

You will also visit Swayambhunath, the famous Monkey Temple. According to Buddhist literature and related sources, Swayambhunath is said to be self-originated, and later kings and priests preserved it by constructing a temple around it.

Bhaktapur city is located just 13 kilometres east of Kathmandu. Bhaktapur means “City of Devotees” and is also a centre of pottery and intriguing masks. Major sightseeing places here include Bhaktapur Durbar Square, the renowned Golden Gate, the Palace of 55 Windows, Nyatapola Temple, Bhairavnath Temple, Dattatreya Temple, and Pujarimath.

The Kathmandu–Chitwan–Pokhara Tour Package also includes jungle safari activities with a cultural program inside Chitwan National Park, which is situated in the southern lowlands (the Terai) of Nepal. Chitwan, meaning “Heart of the Jungle,” is one of Asia’s finest wildlife reserves. It is home to more than 700 species of birds and over 70 species of wild animals, including the endangered Royal Bengal tiger, elephants, one-horned rhinoceros, sloths, and gharial crocodiles.

Local people of the Tharu community live here, and you will have opportunities to visit Tharu villages and enjoy their cultural programs.

Pokhara is another highlight of the Kathmandu–Chitwan–Pokhara Tour Package. It is the most popular tourist destination in Nepal after Kathmandu. Surrounded by the Annapurna Range of the Himalayas, Pokhara sits at an elevation of 800 m above sea level, offering fresh air and a pleasant subtropical climate.

Most travellers stay in the serene Lakeside area along Fewa Lake (Nepal’s second-largest lake). Lakeside is filled with hotels, restaurants, and shops, with the main road running parallel to the lake, creating a peaceful and relaxed atmosphere.
