If you wish to enjoy all the best of Nepal in a single visit , this could be the trip for you.The main highlights of a Nepal trip are the spectacular Himalayas, the beautiful countryside, the heritage sites in Kathmandu, the wildlife safari in Chitwan National park and the whitewater rafting in the Himalayan rivers.
We first explore the heritage sites in Kathmandu, next morning we fly to the beautiful lake city of Pokhara whose skyline is dominated by the mighty Himalayas - Dhaulagiri, Annapurna and Machhapuchare.A scenic four day trek to the Annapurna foot hills will expose you closer view of these mountains and offer an opportunity to experience Nepalese countryside. Next we head for Chitwan National Park in the tropical lowland of Terai. It is a great jungle trip to enjoy elephant back safari, canoe ride, birdwatching and visit to the elephant breeding centre etc. The trip concludes with a thrilling white water rafting in Trisuli river.
This itinerary is rush free and enjoyed by people of all ages. However, for elderly people or for family groups with kids, the four day trek is better done in five days , making the trip length 12 days.
DETAIL ITINERARY:
Day 01: ARRIVE IN KATHMANDU:
Arrive at Tribhuwan International Airport, Kathmandu, where you are welcomed by a hospitable meeting and then taken to your hotel. We will briefly explain the program upon your arrival at hotel. Stay over night at the Hotel.
Day 02: DRIVE FROM KATHMANDU TO NAGARKOT (32 kms. 1.5 hrs drive):
After a welcome breakfast, we will take you for half a day of sight seeing tour in Kathmandu Valley; Pashupatinath Temple, one of the most important Hindu temples in Nepal. We keep going for walk to see the huge stupa of Buddha, also known as Boudhanath, the largest stupa in Nepal. Afterwards, taking a ride to Bhaktapur, a fascinating town, visit Bhaktapur's Dubar Square featuring the Victorian illustration- style with temples and temple complex. We then drive to Nagarkot and stay overnight in a hotel there.
Day 03: DRIVE BACK FROM NAGARKOT TO KATHMANDU:
After breakfast, we return to Kathmandu and continue with sightseeing in the valley with Kathmandu Durbar Square, the place of the Malla and then the Shah Kings of Nepal, visit to the Kumari Temple, house of the virgin goddess, visit to Swoyambhunath, a stupa on the top of hill - from here you can enjoy the scenery of the entire Kathmandu Valley, the we visit Patan city, the second largest town in the valley, Krishna Mandir, Golden Temple etc. stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 04: DRIVE FROM KATHMANDU TO CHITWAN (190 kms/5 hrs drive):
After breakfast, we travel overland from Kathmandu to Royal Chitwan National Park. We let you experience a los of Safari activities; jungle walks, canoeing, 4WD safaris and so on. Once the night sets in, we entertain you with cultural performances including bonfire before retiring to bed.
Day 05: FULL DAY JUNGLE ACTIVITIES IN CHITWAN:
After breakfast, you get a full day to enjoy safari activities in Royal Chitwan national Park - if you are lucky, you will see many amazing creatures that you spend most time looking for; rhinoceroses, Chitwan's royal Bengal tigers, leopards, monkeys, many types of deer and reptiles. Check your camera gear - preferably with a telephoto lens and you will not miss any shot. Stay overnight in the park.
Day 06: DRIVE FROM CHITWAN TO LUMBINI (138 kms – 3 -4 hours drive):
After breakfast, we travel overland from Chitwan to Lumbini, the birthplace of Lord Buddha, which has been revered as the place of holy pilgrimage. Lumbini has been included as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
Upon arrival in Lumbini, we take you to the hotel, check-in and then we for a walk through the Sacred Lumbini Garden where Buddha was born and which converges on the Ashoka pillar, then we visit the Maya Devi Temple with its bas-relief sculpture depicting Maya Devi holding on with her right hand to a branch of pipal tree and giving birth to the infant Buddha who stood up on a lotus pedestal right after the birth.
Day 07: DRIVE FROM LUMBINI TO POKHARA (264 kms/7 hour’s drive):
After breakfast, we depart for Pokhara and commence on a full day sightseeing of Pokhara, the most popular destination in Nepal after Kathmandu, spend the morning trip along the banks of Phewa Lake. You can admire the stunning view of the Fish Tail's Peak reflected in the silver surface of the water. You can also see the wonderful Annapurna panorama forming a superb backdrop to Pokhara from the lake. Aside from Phewa Lake, we keep visiting the Seti River gorge - one of the best places to see, Mahendra Gufa, used to be well-known for its stalactites. Stay overnight at hotel.
Day 08: DRIVE FROM POKHARA TO NAYAPUL AND TREK TO ULLERI (2070m):
After breakfast the guide will pick you from the hotel and drive you to the starting point of the trek in Nayapul. The drive takes 1 hr and 30 minutes by a private car. Upon arrival in Nayapul our guide should give you some information about your trekking trail. On the first day you should trek around 4-5 hrs up hill in the mountain.
Day 09: ULLERI TREK TO GHOREPANI

Day 13: RELAX IN POKHARA:
The day is at your leisure- you can relax and have all the fun. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 14: EARLY MORNING DRIVE BACK FROM POKHARA TO KATHMANDU IN A NORMAL TOURIST BUS (200 KMS – 5/6 hours drive): After breakfast, Scenic Drive back to Kathmandu. O/N at Hotel.
Day 15: TRANSFER TO AIRPORT TO CONNECT TO ONWARD FLIGHT BACK HOME
