Bandipur Tour

Bandipur tour offers panoramic view in the location like 27.56 N, 84.25 E and an elevation of 1030m on a mountain saddle (Mahabharata range) approximately 700m above the Marsyangdi River Valley, 143 km to the west of Kathmandu and 80 km to the east of Pokhara. Since 1998 it is connected by an 8km access road from Dumre (Kathmandu-Pokhara highway). Until then there was only an unreliable road, in monsoon usually not accessible or only by tractors. The mountain saddle, just 200m long, is barely wide enough to accommodate the main street lined by 2 or 3 storey buildings on either side. At the backsides of these houses the mountainsides steeply descend and the gardens are only accessible by stairs.

DETAIL ITINERARY:

Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel:

You are collected from the airport and taken in a private car to your five star hotel. Relax and unwind from your journey.

Day 02: Today you travel by private Vehicle to Bandipur:

Along the way take a lunch break at Kurintar. From here you can take the cable car to the hill top and spend some time relaxing in this favorite spot of many Nepal couples at Manakamana temple. Proceed to Bandipur when you can spend the afternoon relaxing in your hotel. Take a short walk and enjoy the sunset over the Himalaya.

Day 03: Today you take a relaxed sightseeing tour of Bandipur:

Today you take a relaxed sightseeing tour of Bandipur Visit to the Khadga Devi Temple, then head down to the shrine of Paarpani Mahadev (the shrine of Shiva, where the local people go in spring time to worship and appeal for rain. You also visit Bindebashini and Mahalaxmi two very beautiful and important temples. Here you can see the exquisite handiwork of the Newari people in a fine display of wood and brass carving. In the afternoon you take a stroll to the silk farm where you can meet the staff and learn about the history and mystic of silk making. See for yourself how silk is spun.

Day 04: Drive back to Kathmandu and transfer to Hotel:

After early breakfast drive back to Kathmandu or join Chitwan national park Jungle safari trip or White water rafting trip if you have or can extend your time. Otherwise just come to Kathmandu and you can go for shopping or relaxed at Hotel. Tonight let's go for Nepali typical dinner with Nepali culture show.
