Everest High Pass Trekking offers you a technical and adventurous experience. In the Everest Trekking Region of Nepal, there are many high passes, and almost all of them are technical and challenging. This trip starts and ends in Kathmandu.
This trek can be done as a tea house trek, a camping trek, or a combination of both, depending on the requirements and interests of our respected clients. Everest High Pass Trekking is especially interesting because it blends the typical Sherpa culture and history of the eastern part of Nepal. The Solukhumbu district offers immense views of the Everest Himalayan ranges, the Everest National Park, and encounters with different wild animals during the trek.
Kangmala Pass, situated at 5,535 m, is another major attraction of the Everest High Pass Trek. We cross this pass from Kangmala Base Camp, and it takes about 6 hours to reach Lobuche. In this trek, we also visit Everest Base Camp and Gorakshep — both located above 5,000 m — which makes them similar to crossing high passes.
The name Chola is very popular among adventure lovers because of its technical nature and breathtaking surroundings. Cho La Pass, situated at 5,420 m, adds another highlight to the Everest High Pass Trekking experience. Kalapatthar (5,545 m) adds a high point and offers unforgettable panoramic views.
Gokyo-Renjo La Pass (5,338 m) is another important and technical pass, yet manageable for trekkers. It gives you the feeling of standing on one of the highest trekking points you may have ever reached. Overall, trekking in the Everest region of Nepal is always exciting, rewarding, and unlike any other in the world.
