Annapurna base camp trekking is world world-famous walking holiday. It is the most popular trekking trail of the Annapurna region. This trek is the ideal destination for tourism in Nepal & one of our popular adventure holiday destinations.

As one of the world’s best trekking regions, the Annapurna region offers unparalleled mountain scenery. The region is famous for its spectacular view, beautiful landscape and the unique traditional culture and lifestyle of the local Gurungs. The trail passes through an ever-changing landscape ranging from paddy fields, misty forests, and tiny settlements to alpine forests and highlands.

The Annapurna range has a vast massif of a number of peaks above 7,000m. Some parts of the range form a natural amphitheatre, which is popularly known as the Annapurna Sanctuary. Mt. Annapurna I, Glacier Dome, Gangapurna, Fang and Machhapuchere (fishtail mountain) are some of the major attractions in the Annapurna region. The trekking trail passes through mind-boggling rhododendron and bamboo forests.

All is found while going up to the famous Fishtail Mountain Base Camp. Trekkers and adventure lovers can use the same trail till Chhomrong downstream (the Modi Khola) before making a sojourn to Ghandrung, a beautiful and large Gurung village.

From the lower part of the village, you descend to the suspension bridge over the Chomro Khola (river) and climb steeply at first, passing through Tilche, Bhanuwa, and Sherpa Lodge. A little further up are the scattered lodges of Sinuwa, a perfect place to stop and admire the view back down the Modi Khola. From where a panoramic view of Mt. Fishtail can be seen.
